SchuleEins Betsaal

Thema: “Bringing dinosaurs back to life: Palaeontology is not a fossilised science.”
Referentin: Verónica Díez Díaz (Museum für Naturkunde – Leibniz Institute for Evolution and Biodiversity Science)

Although the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies frequently come to mind when we think of palaeontology or dinosaurs, is that really how palaeontologists conduct their research? The process of reconstructing an extinct animal will be examined in this talk, from fieldwork to the application of cutting-edge technologies like digitization and three-dimensional biomechanical simulations.
